Magic & Meaning
Retreat
February 5th to 13th 2027
Â
Â
Come for Bali. Leave with lifelong friendships, deeper self-trust, and a version of yourself you haven’t met yet.
Â
February 5th - 13th 2027
Ubud, Bali
There are trips you take to get away.
And then there are journeys that change the way you come home.
Bali Magic & Meaning is a transformational retreat for people who are ready for beauty, adventure, meaningful connection, and the kind of personal growth that happens when you step outside the life you know and into a space that helps you remember who you are.
We’ll gather in the countryside of Ubud, surrounded by rice fields, temples, culture, warm Balinese hospitality, and the kind of natural beauty that makes it easier to breathe, soften and listen.
But what past participants talk about most is not just Bali.
It’s the friendships.
The conversations.
The safety of being seen without judgment.
The feeling of arriving as strangers and leaving as friends who continue to support one another long after the retreat ends.
This is not a vacation where you escape your life.
It is an experience that helps you return to your life more open, more connected, and more deeply rooted in yourself.
Â
What Past Participants Say
Â
“When people ask me what I brought back from Bali, my answer is simple: 11 best friends.”
“One of the things I loved most was that there was no judgement. It was a space filled with love, honesty, growth, and genuine connection.”
“The retreat gave me a new awareness of the energy I bring into my life. I came home with more clarity and self-trust.”
“No amount of words can fully describe the experience.”
“The retreat will live in me for the rest of my life.”
 Â
What Makes This Retreat Different
Â
Most retreats focus on either personal growth or adventure.
This retreat is both.
We explore the beauty and culture of Bali through temples, waterfalls, beaches, sacred rituals, sound healing, countryside adventures, shared meals, and spacious time to rest.
We also create room for the conversations that rarely happen in everyday life.
The ones that help you see yourself more clearly.
The ones that remind you that you are not alone.
The ones that open something in you that you have longed to share.
Past participants have described the experience as sacred, life-changing, deeply connective, and almost impossible to explain.
That is the magic.
The meaning is what you bring home.
Â
This Retreat May Be For You If...
Â
You feel the pull for something more.
Not because your life is falling apart.
But because you know there is another level of aliveness, connection, joy, or possibility waiting for you.
Â
This retreat may be for you if:
Â
You've spent years taking care of everyone else and are ready to reconnect with yourself.
You're standing at a crossroads and know something in your life is asking to evolve.
You crave deeper conversations than the ones you typically have in your day-to-day life.
You want meaningful connection with people who value growth, authenticity, and adventure.
You love travel, culture, and new experiences.
You feel called to step outside your comfort zone and see what becomes possible.
You want to spend time with people who are committed to living intentionally rather than simply going through the motions.Â
Â
You do not need to have all the answers.
Â
You do not need to be in crisis.
You do not need to be "fixed."
You simply need to be willing to say yes to an experience that may change the way you see yourself and your life.
Welcome Dinner
We arrange a dinner to be prepared at the villas so we can come together around beautiful food, get to know one another, and share our intentions for the retreat. Our meals are shared on the balcony overlooking the surrounding rice paddies.
Massage By The Pool
One of the unexpected luxuries of Bali is how easy it becomes to slow down. Whether you're enjoying a massage beside the pool, reading in the shade, or simply taking in the beauty of the surrounding rice fields, you'll find plenty of opportunities to rest, recharge, and savor the experience at your own pace.
Monkey ForestÂ
Together we'll explore Ubud's Sacred Monkey Forest, where ancient temples, towering trees, and curious monkeys create an experience unlike anywhere else in the world. Beyond the playful monkeys, the forest offers a chance to immerse yourself in Bali's natural beauty, spiritual traditions, and the vibrant energy that draws people from around the globe to Ubud.
Bali Life
After breakfast overlooking a stunning volcano, we'll spend the day exploring the heart of rural Bali on a gentle downhill bike ride through villages, rice terraces, and lush countryside. We'll visit traditional Balinese homesteads, stop at a local honey farm, learn about the customs and daily rhythms of village life, and experience a side of Bali that many visitors never get to see. The ride is more about soaking in the beauty and culture of the island than athletic ability. If biking isn't your thing, you're welcome to spend the day relaxing by the pool, exploring on your own, or enjoying the experience from the air conditioned van.
Spirit Cleansing
As the sun begins to set, we'll gather at the Pyramids of Chi for a special evening inspired by the phases of the moon and the natural cycles of growth, release, and renewal. We'll enter the pyramids for an immersive sound healing experience designed to calm the nervous system, encourage reflection, and create space for deeper connection with ourselves and the journey we're on, followed by a beautiful dinner together. Many participants describe this evening as one of the most surprising and relaxing experiences of the retreat.
Â
The Sea
We'll spend a day exploring Bali's stunning coastline, traveling by boat to secluded coves and crystal-clear waters that are home to an incredible variety of tropical fish and marine life. Whether you're an experienced snorkeler or trying it for the first time, the underwater world is truly breathtaking. After a day of sun, sea, and adventure, we'll enjoy a delicious meal together before returning to the villas to relax and reflect on the day's experiences.
Water Temple
There are some experiences that are difficult to explain until you've lived them. Our day at the water temple is often one of them. Surrounded by centuries of tradition and sacred ritual, you'll have the opportunity to participate in a traditional cleansing ceremony designed to symbolize release, renewal, and new beginnings. Whether you experience it as spiritual, emotional, reflective, or simply meaningful, many participants describe this as one of the most impactful days of the entire retreat.
Â
Down Time
One of the greatest gifts of Bali is the opportunity to slow down.
To linger over breakfast. To take one more swim. To enjoy a massage by the pool. To wander through Ubud, revisit a favorite spot, or simply relax with a good book and the company of new friends.
We've intentionally left some days unscheduled, including our last day, allowing everyone the freedom to spend time however feels most meaningful to them.
Over the years, we've discovered that some of the most memorable moments of the retreat happen during these unhurried hours. It's a chance to reflect on the journey, soak in the beauty of Bali, and enjoy the friendships that have formed along the way.
Many participants tell us that while Bali provides the setting, it is the connection, community, and support they experience with one another that truly creates the Magic and Meaning of the retreat.

The Retreat Doesn't End When You Fly Home
Â
Anyone can create a beautiful week.
What matters is what stays with you after it's over.
Months after returning home, our participants are still gathering on Zoom calls, supporting one another, sharing victories, navigating challenges, and celebrating life together.
Many arrived expecting a wonderful trip.
What they didn't expect was the depth of connection they would experience.
Or how much those relationships would continue to impact their lives long after returning home.
Again and again, people tell us the same thing:
The friendships became one of the most meaningful parts of the experience.
The retreat may last ten days.
Its impact often lasts much longer.
"When people ask me what I brought back from Bali, my answer is simple: 11 best friends."
Those friendships weren't part of the itinerary.
They were the unexpected gift.
Imagine Waking Up Here
Â
You wake to the sound of birds and the gentle movement of palm trees.
Coffee in hand, you step outside your villa and look across the rice fields as the morning light begins to fill the valley.
There is nowhere to rush.
No one demanding your attention.
No endless list of responsibilities waiting for you.
Just space.
Space to breathe.
Space to think.
Space to remember parts of yourself that often get lost in the noise of everyday life.
Some days we'll explore temples, waterfalls, villages, beaches, and sacred places throughout Bali.
Some days we'll gather for conversations that challenge us, inspire us, and remind us of what truly matters.
We'll laugh.
We'll adventure.
We'll rest.
We'll share meals and stories.
And somewhere along the way, something begins to shift.
Not because we're trying to force transformation.
But because growth happens naturally when we step outside our routines and surround ourselves with people who see the best in us.

Meet Your Hosts
One of the reasons this retreat feels so unique is the balance created by its hosts.
Christine Dickson and Kathy Price bring different backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences, but share a common belief:
Growth happens when people feel safe enough to be themselves.
Together they create an experience that combines meaningful conversations, personal transformation, adventure, laughter, reflection, and genuine human connection.
The result is a retreat that feels both deeply supportive and profoundly life-changing.

For more than twenty years, Christine has helped people understand how early experiences, survival patterns, relationships, and life circumstances shape the way they see themselves and move through the world.

In addition to her one-on-one mentoring and intensives, Christine recently launched The Path to Freedom Practice — an ongoing membership community where members work with her teachings week by week, learning to recognize and shift the patterns that have kept them stuck, one small step at a time.
Participants often describe Christine's work as practical, compassionate, insightful, and deeply transformative.
Her gift is helping people see possibilities for themselves that they may not yet be able to see on their own.

People are often drawn to Kathy's warmth, grounded presence, curiosity and her ability to help people see themselves from a new perspective. Kathy’s scientific background is intriguing as it allows her to explore the world of energy from a unique viewpoint.

Why we keep coming back
Â
Every year we watch the same thing happen.
People arrive wondering if they made the right decision.
Within days, walls come down.
Conversations deepen.
Friendships form.
By the end of the retreat, many participants feel like they've known one another for years.
Months later they're still meeting, supporting each other, and sharing life together.
We first created this retreat because we wanted to collaborate in a way that brought together everything we value: meaningful conversations, personal growth, adventure, laughter, connection, and the opportunity to experience a remarkable part of the world.
What we have found is...
Bali has provided the setting.
The people have created the magic.
